Pastor Longobardo has been involved in full time ministry since 1974 as a church planter, Bible Institute Director, coordinator of pastor’s fellowships and international church conference speaker. He holds a Bachelor of Sacred Literature. Pastor Longobardo attended Biola University in LaMirada, California.
Pastor Longobardo’s international speaking engagements have extended to Brazil, Italy, Peru, Singapore, Mexico, Africa, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Canada and extensively throughout the U.S.A.
In 1974 his pastoral experience began on the staff of Evangel Temple in Washington, D.C. Pastor Longobardo functioned as a Bible Institute Director and Pastor. In 1979 he was blessed by the church and sent forth to plant a church in the Maryland suburbs.
From 1979-1989, he pioneered and pastored Christian Hope Center Church of College Park, Maryland. During that decade extension churches were established in Corning, Ithaca and Binghamton, New York. Two churches were also established in Washington, D.C. and Dale City, Virginia.
On May 1, 1991 Pastor Longobardo became the Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Church in Greensboro, NC. Christ Covenant Church is a vibrant family church, which is well known for its inspirational worship and fine arts, commitment to world missions and excellence in education and youth ministries. In January 2005 the church successfully completed the acquisition of 40 acres of land near the Wet’n Wild Water Park. The new location represents the potential expansion of the ministry into:
• A Global, Multi-Cultural, Bridge Building, Great Commission Church
• An Educational Ministry K-12th Grade
• A Resident Senior Retirement Community
• A Resident Home for Unwed Mothers
• Three Training Institutes

*** A Marriage and Family Enrichment and Counseling Center
*** A Leadership Training Institute
Pastor Longobardo is proudly married to his beautiful wife, Joan. Both have appeared on numerous national and local Christian television networks including C.B.N, T.B.N. and regularly with T.C.T. Pastor Longobardo is known for his profound biblical insights, prophetic gifts, and practical humor.
